This is a photograph of a cloudspill which is clouds spilling over and hugging the Bear Canyon Mountain Ridge in Elena Gallegos Park in Northwest Albuquerque.

"Cloudspill"

Digital Photo, Fall 2001

Bear Canyon in northeast Albuquerque is a family refuge even in the wide open state of New Mexico.

Local people often take mountain scenes like this for granted. The artist who captured this picture swore for years that he would photograph it ... and he finally did. If you make a special request of turning it into a poster, it becomes a dreamy mix of fantasy and reality.
